It is easy to get discouraged when experiencing a setback, whether it's a flat tire or a rejected offer to purchase a home. Instead we should be thankful for having 3 good tires and only 1 bad tire! And appreciate having great clients willing to write an offer when other buyers are just hesitating on the sidelines.
Motivational Monday - Conquering Life's Setbacks, One Tire at a Time
If you follow my motivational posts each Monday, you probably think I'm hung up on attitude and not allowing set-backs or diagnoses, etc. to keep you from your ultimate goal. Well, I try to focus each week on one person in my life who needs a little motivation - and as it happens, attitude has a lot to do with much of what we deal with in life!
Today we needed a little hospital room humor after the doctor's visit and how appropriate is this?...
We often get hung up on one little negative and it can truly set us back exponentially, if we allow it to do so. One negative story in the newspaper doesn't mean that all of the news is negative - read it and move on to the positive stories! Life is much the same when our goals are being impacted by that one little nagging negative.
Yes, we need to know what that one negative is (oftentimes, simply not to repeat history) but, dwelling on it has a huge impact on our overall well-being, our overall attitude and ultimately, the achievement of our goals.
