ArtWalk Carlsbad is Coming September 21 and 22, 2019
We just enjoyed Art in the Village a little over a week ago and it’s time to start thinking about the next big art event in Carlsbad.
Last year was the inaugural ArtWalk Carlsbad and it was a huge success from what I heard…and I certainly enjoyed my time there!
ArtWalk San Diego, the same group that produces the Mission Federal ArtWalk in Little Italy and the ArtWalk @ Liberty Square, is the proud organizer of this 2-day arts festival in North San Diego County. And there are multiple sponsors, too, who help keep this event affordable for attendees and participants.
Once again ArtWalk Carlsbad will be held on Armada Drive above the Carlsbad Flower Fields, the site of the popular ArtSplash for many years, and offering terrific views of the Carlsbad coastline and ocean, and ocean breezes as a side benefit to viewing beautiful art work.

No doubt ArtWalk Carlsbad will be a big hit once again, with the ever-popular chalk art creations from multiple chalk artists creating in 8’ x 6’ “squares,” and hundreds of works of art by local, regional, and international artists in a wide range of mediums – glass, photography, sculpture, oil painting, jewelry, metal work, wood work and more.
KidsWalk will feature fun and family-friendly art projects and art activities with several sponsors.
You can also enjoy interactive art exhibits (one with Artist & Craftsman Supply, the other with North County Arts Network) and live music on both days, including A.J. Croce on Sunday afternoon at 2:30.
You can purchase tickets online or at the entrance gate. Tickets are $8/per for each day (with a $2 facility fee) which is a little less than last year, or buy a Weekend Pass for 1 person at $13 - NOTE: the prices go up by $2 after August 31!
Print your tickets at home or show them on your phone, or you can do Will Call at the gate.
Parking is fairly plentiful along Fleet Street, immediately east of Armada Drive, and some parking lots in this corporate office park will be available - look for signs.
