Meadowbrook Stables Anniversary Party, September 7, 2019

 

The Meadowbrook Stables anniversary party will be hosted by Montgomery County Parks and Meadowbrook Stables.  

 

Meadowbrook Stables turns eighty-five! And, you are invited to the anniversary party Saturday, September 7, 3 to 5 pm, at 8200 Meadowbrook Lane in Chevy Chase.

Enjoy a demonstration by mounted officers from the Maryland-National Capital Park Police, Montgomery County Division.

Tour the historic barn. Enjoy hands-on activities, like the pony grooming station. And, have a slice of cake! And, it's all free!

If you have time, pack some chairs and a picnic to enjoy the afternoon.

Montgomery Parks and Meadowbrook Stables' relationship dates back to 1934, and it is the Parks' oldest public-private partnership. Join us for the celebration, won't you?

Cake and pony grooming. . .I could handle that!  My uncle was a member of the mounted posse in Washington State back in his day.  I remember attending a parade on a visit there, where he was participating.  Great stuff!
