Seniors Rule! August 21 is National Senior Citizen Day!
First proclaimed in 1988 by President Ronald Reagan, National Senior Citizen Day celebrates the accomplishments of people age 55 and over.
According to the 2017 census, 47 million seniors live in the United States. By 2060, that number will nearly double. The wealth of knowledge, skill, and experience of seniors offers so much to the next generation.
