Character Counts! Scholarships in Gaithersburg, Maryland
Four inspiring high school seniors will receive a total of $7,310 for college tuition in the coming academic year through the W. Edward Bohrer, Jr. Memorial CHARACTER COUNTS! Scholarship program. This year's recipients were recognized for their accomplishments at the August 19 Mayor and City Council meeting. Since the launch of the program in 1998, 103 high school seniors have received more than $180,000 in funding to help with their continuing education.
