Open Letter to Nebraska Real Estate Agents - Old or New

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Mike McCann - Broker, Mach1 Realty Farmland Broker-Auctioneer Serving Rural Nebraska

Are you looking for a new place to hang your NE license?Mach1 Realty Nebraska Mike McCann Or a place to hang your new license? Mach1 Realty wants to talk with you!!

I am looking to grow my company by about 10 rural agents or more around the state of Nebraska.

Are you looking to get in to the business but are wondering how...or where...or when...or a dozen other questions?  E-mail me at the address below and let's talk. Heck a cup of coffee and a face to face are easy to arrange...I will even buy the meal!! Every single agent and Broker in the world was new at one time and were just starting out.

Are you currently licensed at an office where you cannot fulfill your abilities due to company guidelines, or get too little of the commission, or get your leads rerouted away from you, or know there has to be a better way?

Why not check out Mach1 Realty

It can't can do it discreetly on your can see our website...our active Facebook page...and if you want, you are free to contact Lindsey Haden or Wayne Connell for their thoughts on the opportunity.  Lindsey joined almost two years ago and Wayne joined this summer of 2019.

You can see the areas on our website were we are looking to have agents.  Why not check it out:

Did I mention that we Auction real estate or list via private treaty!

I am in particular looking for agents who want the following:  To work the ag/farm land and rural residential markets and be successful; who want to earn the vast majority of the commission split on every transaction; who can give the time needed and the effort needed to generate business; who have other income to sustain them while they build their client base; who can go out and talk with folks and contact folks face to face and via social media and phone/text/voice/ads/mail; and who can work independently.

What I want in an agent: I want people who care about others and want to help our clients reach their goals.  I want people who are positive...forward thinking...willing to share ideas...and who are honest and ethical in their work life and private life. I want people who know they can do the job... if given the chance. I am even looking for agents who eventually want to work for themselves as their own Broker/Owner. (I will help you get there).

What I do not want:  If you are negative and everything is always the other guys fault...we will not be a good match. If you are dishonest, unethical, can't follow the NREC rules, or our company guidelines....we will not be a good match. In a Debbie Downers or Willy Woe-is-Me need to call...folks.

Here is a Quick Test:

Is the glass half empty or half full? Mike McCann Mach1 Realty

Is the Glass Half Empty or Half Full?

Think about it...Is it time to start rationing what is left and be cautious...or are you confident that you can survive until you can refill the glass?

I can tell you what I think...but you have to have to make the decisions when you work alone.

Do not assume you know what I am thinking.  This will be a question I will ask you and your answer will be an integral part of any decisions in regards to Mach1 Realty future licensees.

If you are curious as to whether I care about your future and want to learn me...but before you do there is one final thing you need to know and it is here:

A quick Important Caveat:

I do not belong to NAR, or Nebraska Board or the local MLS. And Mach1 Realty will not be joining any unless they change the current guidelines, which is unlikely.

The reason is simple:  Nebraska requires all licensees to belong to any MLS that any one of the other company licensees belong to. Bad Idea!

IE:  A Kearney agent for Mach1 Realty would have to belong to  the state and NAR plus any local MLS that any agent belonged to.  If we had a Grand Island agent, a Columbus agent, a Lincoln agent, and an Omaha agent...Lindsey, Wayne, and I would have to belong to all 4 of those plus then also the Kearney/Hastings, and the North Platte MLS.  So 6 times the money.  Same goes for those other agents...they would have to join all 6.

That is foolish and cost prohibitive and costs the state a lot of money...but that is a discussion for another time.

SO can you sell houses in an MLS town? is harder to get your buyers into the houses because we do not have lockbox access.  Having said that...Lindsey has helped buyers in Hastings, Omaha, and Lincoln.  3 different MLS associations.  Trust me...the seller of that house wants us to take our clients through Lindsey just has to work around the key to the doors issue. It can be done as she has proved many times.

There you have it... a long winded request to join us!

Do not assume that size of company is a major factor in your success. We are small...we do more business than most agents do and you can be successful with us. Our biggest difference is you get the vast majority of the commission and the leads for your area...again check with Lindsey if you want and she can vouch for that!

Perhaps it is time to give us a call!!   Until we meet on the phone or text or face to face...always have safe travels!!

Lindsey Haden

Lindsey Haden here to vouch for everything Mike just stated.I live 10 miles from the nearest town. I have to overcome cell phone and internet issues galore, BUT not being in an MLS has not slowed my business.I got my first client 14 months ago and today my income is supporting my family of 6 thanks in part to Mach1’s terrific commission split and not having to pay exorbitant membership fees! Mike has patiently guided me through mistakes and hard lessons and has had my back when I have faced adversity.Thank you, Mike, for the mention, and for helping me become successful as a Mach1 Realty Agent!!
