There are many books written over the years as far back as the dawn of writing speaking out about various subjects that appeal to mankind. For someone who has no awareness or wishes to acquire one... someone elses experience is a good start. At no time does this substitute for your own experience. It just functions as a pioneer or a guide to prime your adventure and discovery pumps. Once those are activated our/your portion begins
WHERE WE GO RIGHT
There is no formula for living life. Trillions of people over time and in times to come will testify to that. No two journeys are alike. However, we do tend to stimulate each other that takes the form of support and encouragement leading to: What one person can do another can do. This is a satisfying and known truth
WHERE WE GO WRONG
Where we may fail ourselves is when we read a book or believe more in outside sources (lectures, Cd's leaders in their fields etc.) than what awaits us personally to discover, claim and develop. Too much carrot and not enough stick can lead you away from answers instead of toward them. Your answers I might add

Someone discovers a product or service that becomes in demand & others already knowing it is a success will duplicate it. That thinking is sound. In fact that is what motivates (& disturbs) the guy who wants to be first to market. He can & will be but free commerce will possibly diminish his returns or eliminate them

It is interesting to note that in the franchising world of established branding and operations that when all the required rules are followed the results are certain subject to just a few unknown or uncontrollable dynamics. THE PERSON INVOLVED
I have known of people who buy businesses because they can and run them into the ground. Advice, following examples or even trial and error cannot help these people. Why? They don't have what it takes to take the operation where it has to go or not go and hold it there or develop it perhaps unleash it too
REAL ESTATE IS REVEALING
While everyone is opinionated & can comment after the fact of how Real Estate works or should the majority of people not only do not know what to do but will fail in the doing it. Real Estate to the many is an intimidating subject. Why? The stakes are high & demand a chunk of peoples lives as the ante to play
THE POINT OF THE POSTING
Is there a book or a source that guarantees an outcome? On certain subjects YES there is. Take gardening. If you follow instructions you get the outcome you read or heard about. Of course it comes with appropriate problems specific to you which can be addressed. Learning to drive or speak another language are other examples. Be advised that there are subjects that books and sources cannot guarantee for a result
HOW TO RUN BUSINESS?
Depends what it is. Used to be that father passed on his savvy to son who passed on the savvy etc. Today, sales, services and product can only open doors (awareness) so far. Take Real Estate leads. If an agent thinks they can get licensed, then pay for leads thus insuring success well we know it doesn't work that way
RESTAURANT BUSINESS
What is so hard about selling food is another business that people get into and find out there is more to it than meets the eye or thought. In fact most business fail within their first six months if not the first year. Bad management, lack of funds, surprise expenses all testify to there are no guarantees in life/love/business
BOOKS CD'S & PITCHES.
The hype or approach is all the same. You too can do this or that if you buy now the HOW TO and if you act within the next few minutes an additional support dynamic will be thrown in. If these pitches are so powerfully true why the over-emphasis? Why the inducement & how come everyone isn't ultra rich by now
ENTREPRENEURSHIP IS NOT FOR EVERYONE
That's why they have 9 to 5 jobs, pass through jobs, part-time jobs and career jobs. The premise is if you stay there long enough and repeat what was taught you over and over again times so many years you can make a living and have certain items and then retire. This was the proven premise in the 1950's and beyond
TODAY
We can play it safe or take a risk. Perhaps we can get lucky? Hey, right time right place abounds too. Will hard work still pay-off? One thing we know for sure.
