I Ordered New Glasses

Hi Sheila,

Even with vision insurance, things can get quite pricey. My wife has progressive lenses and still spent $500 for the final costs. 

I purchased a pair of glasses that I drive at night with.  It was a few years ago, and I felt they were expensive then.  I think they were about $350. or so.  However, they really cut down on the glare and things look much clearer at night.

I am amazed at the expense of glasses these days. I would have thought the price would go down.

Hi Sheila- I'm sticking with my contacts for as long as I can. I rarely if ever use my glasses so they're soooooo old. Larry got his last pair at Costco. Still glasses are expensive. 

Sheila, UGH, isn't it always something?   Last time I got new glasses, it cost me $700, and that was with a less expensive frame.

You know, Sheila Anderson, you're right about life being expensive. If you add up my hours, I'm making just over minimum wage, with 20 years experience...

Life IS expensive.  I've been using the same frames for the last 3 pairs of glasses. Thankfully they seem to be holding up and I hope to be able to use them for the next pair, which should be soon.
