Virtual Tour for Real Estate - How to Start Selling More By Doing Less

Real Estate Agent

In today's busy world, people are always on the go. They keep moving for education, work, and family reasons. If you're a real estate company or an agent, you're all too familiar with this. When people keep moving or when they want to squeeze in some time through their busy schedule, you end up meeting them in the coffee shops, or sometimes, just on the roads to help understand if there is a match between what they want and what you can offer.

As an agent, you're pretty much everywhere too! Most times, you prefer your clients to email documents or call you on your cell phone, so you can answer their questions and keep the buying/selling process going even if you're on the move. An added advantage is this does not tie you down to your desk, so you can make the most of your time.

Now that we are talking about productivity and doing more in a given time, here are some ways to start selling more by doing less. Sounds paradoxical? Not really when you have a plan in place and tap into the many technologies that make this possible.

Virtual reality

Instead of taking your clients physically to every house, you're better off using virtual reality to give them an idea of the property. If they like what they see, you can then take them to the property and seal the deal.

Using virtual reality helps to save time for both you and your client. From your clients' perspective, they get to see different properties from all angles and can choose to visit the ones they like the most. For you, it saves a lot of time as you have to show them only two or three properties at the most and the chances for closing the deal is also high.

Transitioning to the virtual world

A physical office is time-consuming, to say the least. You have to find a space, sign the rental agreement, spruce it up, make it customer-friendly, and constantly spend time, effort, and money in maintaining it. This can take up too much of your focus, thereby making it difficult to meet your client commitments.

Instead, you can consider shifting to a virtual office where you'll still have a virtual address and business services needed to cater to your customers. You can choose to have a landline phone that is answered by someone and a virtual mailbox that can receive your mails. You can even have someone forward it to your personal address or scan a copy of the mails and send it to your digital mailbox, based on your preferences.

This way, you don't spend time maintaining your office and instead put your efforts towards improving your client base and business.

Thus, these are some of the ways by which you can tap into existing technologies and services to improve your productivity and take your real estate business to new heights.
