Gold Beach has always been a bit "out of the norm" in regards to property pricing. We are rarely strongly influenced by outside factors such as foreclosures and job loss. Today, buyers are offered a stronger selection, better pricing and better negotiating markers than in previous years.
Our beautiful scenery and mild climate are probably to credit for fairly stable home pricing. Everyone got used to the escalated pricing four to seven years ago but now things are starting to settle back down. This is not a negative, as Curry County pricing is still above the norm for most parts of the country. An investment here will usually pay off within 5-10 years with a substantial gain. With more people retiring and moving to our community, the possibilities are endless.
