Bringing the Pots In......

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Referral Group Incorporated

In the Berkshires of western Massachusetts where I now live, Fall can come at anytime and then the temperatures fall below freezing quickly. So once September arrived I started to bring my plants inside. It is a big job but worth doing slowly and carefully. Yesterday I brought the big ones in and that is the first phase of my yard cleanup completed. I still have another thirty seasonal annuals that will need to be made dirt and the pots washed and stored. There is a lot of clean up and cut backs and the ongoing weeding, and leaf removal but step one is done. Enjoy your day.

I do love the yard Carol but I have already taken 2 showers. I am hoping to get to a point where I can avoid annuals next year. TY          Sheila

Thanks Lottie. I move too fast and fell in the parking lot of the shop. I broke two pieces of glass I loved and ripped my pants. Home now. TY    Sheila

I need to dig my dry creek bed a little deeper, and also grade it more away from my house, instead of toward it.  I'm going to start in earnest tomorrow after my lawn guy comes.

Sounds like a lot of work that's best not left to the last moment, Sheila. Hard to believe we are now talking about fall and colder weather. Sure glad we no longer have to do this.

This is one part of fall i dread. I have been slowly working on my garden as teh plants fall off. I am ahead of where i would be normally. But still a lot to do. I did my flowers on Saturday and replaced them all with mums. I had a tree fall in a storm taking out 2 others, so I had to cut down 6 huge maples this year and those made up 50 plus bags of leaves, so maybe, just maybe i will have less raking.
