Where are the best areas to live in Bozeman? Every part of Bozeman is a good place to live in our opinion. However, depending on your lifestyle some could be a better fit than others.
WEST BOZEMAN

This is one of the fastest-growing parts of town! There are several new developers on the west side of Bozeman and it will soon be home to the second high school, Gallatin High. In West Bozeman you will find new subdivisions along with more established neighborhoods. Because of the proximity to several schools and great parks, this area lends itself well to families. Emily Dickenson, Meadowlark and Hyalite Elementary are all tucked into neighborhoods in this part of town and Chief Joseph Middle School is at the edge of Baxter Meadows. In the heart of West Bozeman is the 100-Acre Regional Park with the Dinosaur playground, ponds and trails that connect with the Main Street to the Mountains trail. It's not just residential development in this area that's been booming. Ferguson Farms is a huge commercial development that sits off of Cottonwood Road. Ferguson Farms is home to several restaurants and businesses with more to come, including residential plans. Ferguson Farms is becoming the community hot-spot for the west side.
