What is the one question that shows your Realtor is on the ball?
I have thought about this question. All Realtors can do comps. We can do searches. We can drive around and unlock doors. We can research deed restrictions. HOA payments. All Realtors can write contracts, I hope. Negotiate.
How does a buyer, interviewing a Realtor know if that Realtor is the one for them.
A nice personality? Good communication skills. A nice car? Years of experience. Is there one question that the customer can ask that will determine if the Realtor they are interviewing is sharp? Is real estate savy? Knows the answers or how to find the answers?
I don't know. But, I realized that I spend a lot of time calling the county for zoning, permitting, access questions, farm animal restrictions and questions that come up regarding things that never occurred to me.
In my county we call one number to get all of the various government entities. 727-847-2411. This will get you to the clerk of the court, the property appraiser, the tax collector, zoning, permitting, records, utilities and more.
I give out this number, quite a lot. I have it memorized.
Could this be the one question?
Do you know the phone number to find out about the properties in your area?
