Located by the Boardwalk, on Okaloosa Island, the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park is easy to miss! However, it is really a must visit location for those who love sea creatures and kids. The Gulfarium was built in the mid 1950's and has had many 'firsts'. Check out their web site to get the full history, Gulfarium Web Site. This is not a typical aquarium, but a real marine adventure. There are shows every day, plus many different animal encounters where you interact with the animals. There is also a 'VIP Trainer' program where you work along side a trainer and get first hand experience with the animals. Please check out their website for more information.
