Maui Condo Report For September 2019:

This is the September, 2019 condominium market report for condos sold on Maui Hawaii year to date through August, 2019.

In August 117 condominiums sold on Maui with a median price of $496,950 and an average price of $654,070. At the end of August there were 458 condominiums for sale on Maui which is approximately 3.7 months of inventory. Kihei had the highest number of sold condos with 59 in August while Kapalua had the highest median sale price for sold condos with a median sale price of $1,865,000 in August. 

Through August, 1,088 total condos have sold on Maui with a median price of $515,000 and an average price of $696,966. This includes both fee simple and leasehold condos. The median sale price has increased 3.5% the first eight months of 2019 compared to the first eight months of 2018. Kihei had the highest number of sold condos through August 2019 with 455 total sales while Wailea/Makena had the highest median sale price for sold condos with a median sale price of $1,280,000 through August 2019. 

Through August, 1,046 total fee simple condos have sold on Maui with a median price of $523,375 and an average price of $713,773. The median sale price for fee simple condos has increased 3.3% since August 2018. Kihei had the highest number of sold fee simple condos through August 2019 with 451 total sales while Wailea/Makena had the highest median sale price for sold condos with a median sale price of $1,280,000 through August 2019.

Through August, 42 total leasehold condos have sold on Maui with a median price of $210,000 and an average price of $278,408. Napili/Kahana/Honokowai had the highest number of sold leasehold condos through August 2019 with 23 total sales while Kihei had the highest median sale price for sold leasehold condos with a median sale price of $354,500 through August 2019.
