Business is not as booming as it was at the beginning of the summer. I see this as an ideal time to review our records from a year or two in the past. If you are properly documenting information from every listing appointment, this is the time to create a new CMA. If the results are NOW what was needed, a follow up phone call and conversation is due.
Those who have not listed because the equity in their homes was not sufficient for them to buy another home will be happy to get that phone call.
That particular database of names may match up with other names of homeowners who have the ideal home for them to buy. You could easily have several new deals in your files!!!
I’m a firm believer that there’s a positive meaning to every negative that’s seen by other agents. If we never had a moment of free time to spend hours reviewing every name and address in the database, and providing a new market analysis, we would be missing a lot of business.
The Team is doing this and has already created several new possibilities they’re working on now.
As I’ve always said, I’m a firm believer in the statement of “keep working and new business will suddenly surface.” We don’t sit and wait for the phone to ring. We keep shaking that fruit from the tree.
This is fruit that continues to hang, and now may be the ideal time for it to fall right onto your lap.
