One of my favorite flowers are tuberous begonias. Their colors are always bright and pure. I found these orange ones as I was roaming around Island View Nursery in Carpinteria looking for a replacement for one of our outdoor pots.
Here is some information from Wiki on these:
Tuberous begonias are a group of Begonia cultivars, regarded as some of the most spectacular of the genus. One of the first hybrids produced was B. x sedenii in 1870, a cross between B. boliviensis, collected by botanist Richard Pearce and a species from the Andes. Wikipedia
And these vivid red ones also caught my attention as they glowed on the table! And, I did not buy any, nor did I find the perfect replacement plant. I did enjoy my visit to Island View Nursery, and not doubt will return there!
Wishing you all a delightful Sunday and a great week ahead.
