5. Bear Creek Nature Park

Bear Creek Nature Park is a 107-acre nature preserve known for its beautiful trails highlighting the well preserved natural fauna and wildlife in the region. There is a variety of landscapes within the park including woodlands, ponds, oak-hardwood forest, fields, open meadows, wetlands, and marshlands. If you're planning to go out for a hike with the kids, take a tour in the lovely trails that go through Bear Creek Nature Park.

6. Goodison Cider Mill

The Goodison Cider Mill located along Orion Road is the perfect road trip in western Rochester. The mill is quite tiny, so you'll want to watch out for it as you get close. If you get a chance to visit, make sure to try their famous donuts and cider.
