If you are not from Central Arkasas, there is one thing that you should know. The Greater Little Rock area is pretty much a giant square. You have 4 major highways that run around the city, boxing it in and separating Little Rock from other metropolises like North Little Rock and Maumelle. The problem some people have had with Maumelle for a long time has been the fact that unlike most other Centarl Arkansas areas, there is one road in, and one road out. This has been a deterrant for some home buyers who like the convience of being able to hop on the highway and start their commute.
Luckily, the city has announced and started construction on another highway exit that will lead to Maumelle easing up traffic and shortening commute time. Maumelle has experienced great growth over the last two decades and is expected to see a 30% growth in population by 2030.
