GRI - Let Me Tell You Why!
Graduate_realtor_institute, the designation many real estate agents aspire to achieve. Why is this? First of all, the dedication and time commitment in order to earn the designation is intensive. Agents who put in the time to complete all three of the modules, have invested valuable time in order to complete the requirements.
No matter how long an agent has been in the business, continuing education, working on designations and certifications is something that should never cease. This business of real estate is ever-changing and therefore, requiring those who practice in this field, continue to learn all they can throughout their career. Being the best in your line of work is essential.
GRI stands for Graduate REALTOR® Institute. The course consists of three individual modules. GRI Contracts to Close, GRI Marketing & Business Skills, & GRI Real Estate Brokerage. Each module requires 4 full days of training.
While the full days of training can be very challenging for a busy, self-employed agent, the benefits of this program far exceed the time away from the day-to-day business. Agents who have earned the GRI designation are typically more equipped with the latest advances in the business and have stepped up their game big time.
Although I have been in the business for 15 years, I have never been able to complete the required courses due to time constraints and location of the classes. Now that I am in Granbury, our Granbury Association of REALTORS® offered the courses which, are right in my neck of the woods. I decided to dive in and make completing this designation a priority.
As the broker/owner of Beam & Branch Realty, PLLC, I am committed to excellence in my profession of real estate. The agents in my office are encouraged to continuously strive for the professional designations and certifications that will enhance the service they provide to our clients. Therefore, our clients can feel confident that any of our agents are equipped and ready to assist them.
GRI is a great choice for any agent to consider. Make sure and choose a REALTOR® who shows a true commitment to their profession. One way to know this is to check out their real estate on-going education. For a Texas agent, simply go to TREC, place the agent's name in the search bar and then click on their name. You will be able to see exactly the continuing education any agent has completed.
In this day and age of increased information, don't you desire to work with an agent who is consistently striving to be the best they can be? Give us a call today! We are ready and prepared to represent you with your next real estate transaction!
