I'm a real results kind of guy. I'm not big on excuses and blame shifting. I don't like whining and complaining. I just want to see results. If you can't do something, or if you need help doing something, just ask and I'll help you if I can. A good while ago I wrote a blog about helping a friend make weight so he could enter the coast guard. The blog was called, "Success Leaves Clues."
He had struggled with the last 10 or so pounds, and since he was in my Spinning class, we talked about it a number of times. I knew he was working out hard, but he was having a battle with those last few pounds. So, I gave him an eating plan that was healthy and specific to weight reduction, and he lost the weight by the next weigh-in which was in less than two weeks. I love results.
A little while ago, I was surprised to get another update on my friend. It wasn't a call or an email. No, it was a reality show on TV. I got a chance to watch him board a fishing boat on the show Wild Tuna. During the filming of the show, the coast guard boarded the fishing boat and checked the captain's paperwork and catch. My friend is the dark haired coastee who boards the fishing boat. Good job, Tim! I'm really proud of you.
If you're a results driven person, I challenge you to take your success and share it with someone who is striving to become a success. Sometimes, they just need a little guidance to overcome an obstacle.
