I love life on Maui, but I have to say I never been to Canada when it's green, usually, it's just covered in snow.
Some friends that winter in Makena on Maui invited us to stay at a house they rented in Whistler for five nights. I have to say it was amazing. We hiked, biked, paddle canoes, ate great food, and the exchange rate was pretty good.
I have to say the beauty was over the top. Hiking lakes and streams were just stunning. Whistler Village was awesome without the snow, I am going to head back there this winter for some snowboarding. So after five days we said goodbye to our friends and headed to Victoria. The ferry ride through the islands was really beautiful.
Victoria is a very special place. Our daughter works at the Marriott in Wailea, so we were styled out at a nice hotel in Victoria, what the heck when you live on Maui where do you go for a vacation.
Victoria was so much fun, so many things to see, and great places to eat. Well, we made it back to Maui, and the fun continued. My daughter Meili treated us to a night at the Marriott in Wailea for my wife Ivy's birthday, the staff was so nice to us. Well, all good things come to an end.
We celebrated my wife Ivy birthday with friends and family. Thank you Meili for hooking up your parents and our lovely friends for quality time in Whistler.
Well, there is no place like home, especially when it's Maui. I love to travel, but always thankful to be back home on Maui. If you're looking for real estate on Maui keep me in mind.
