This weeks report on home values for Corona del Mar and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a Corona del Mar Realtor Micharl Van Ruth. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were down 0.6 percent, new homes are down 2.9 percent and resale condos are down 1.5 percent. The sales volume is up for resale homes 3.4 percent, down 2.5 percent on condos and down 35.0 percent for new homes.
Corona del Mar Zip Code 92625 sales prices are down 26.7 percent and the sales volume is down 0.0 percent
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are up 1.4 percent and the sales volume is down 13.9 percent.
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are down 14.1 percent and the sales volume is down 8.8 percent.
Aliso Viejo Zip Code 92656 sales prices are down 0.4 and the sales volume is up 28.6 percent
Laguna Niguel Zip Code 92677 sales prices down 10.5 percent and the sales volume is down 10.6 percent.
Rancho Santa Margarita Zip Code 92688 sales prices are up 1.2 percent and the sales volume up 38.2 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are down 19.6 percent and the sales volume is down 31.1 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are down 4.0 percent and the sales volume is down 4.4 percent.
It looks like the whole of the county and you will see that prices are down and that sales volume is down accept for resale ho. It is that time of year. What's next? Well I see that the national news is showing that housing starts are up. That kind of news will have an over all positive effect.
