Ahh, thank you so much, Marte Cliff! I'm SO excited - I cannot wait to fly out tomorrow. That return trip is going to be wonderful! I don't know if I'll ever get him back to Colorado after this long stay!
Best wishes for continued success and Thank you for a thought-provoking post on this journey's progress.

And, thank you for following our journey, Michelle Carr Crowe,Altas Just Call...408-252-8900!! I'm ELATED that it's almost over and with a positive outcome too!
Morning Debe.
Whatever Ray's issues were (get that were), better days are ahead. Don't need to tell you to enjoy your trip, I know you will

This must be a great trip to make, knowing you are bringing him home with you and not having to leave with a part of yourself left behind. He has, in fact both of you have been an example to all of us who have shared your journey and I send best wishes, and good thoughts for your journey back, may it go smoothly with no issues along the way. Time to celebrate, enjoy!

Hello Debe - there's no denying that chutzpah is a part of you and of Ray as you face this challenge. Life is a series of challenges some where the spirit of persistence and determination is key as your example clearly shows. There are also times when there is a need to "cut one's losses". It is good to understand the playing field. Good luck as Ray comes home.

Hey, superwoman...I would not be surprised if you just flew out and carried your beautiful Ray back home. Strength seems to be your middle name. Here to a speedy and complete recovery.

Hello Debe, I see first hand the effect you have on Ray when you walk in the room. You are one special person I think!

Debe one thing I am sure of from following your blog is that you do not quit, and I am sure of the same for Ray.

Good morning Debe Maxwell, CRS - what a great inspiration to all of us. We are cheering for your husband along with you. I am reminded of Winston Churchill. Never, never give up!
PS. Just send you a message.

Thank you for the heads-up, Grant! AR messages tend to go to my spam folder for some reason! Sorry for the delay in responding.

Hi James Dray! I surely did enjoy the trip - the only sadness was knowing we'd probably never see the doctors & nurses again - and they were AMAZING!
Thank you so much for your kind words. We had a great trip, Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543! It was a FULL day at the airport and flying for us. So, yesterday and today, he's been paying for it. I highly recommend a strong focus on physical conditioning when going through something like this - it makes the recovery process go a bit better!
I try, Barbara Todaro, Lord knows I try! It helps when you're married to a fighter who doesn't take 'no' for an answer!
Oh, definitely true on the cutting one's losses, Michael Jacobs! For many, giving up is not an option but, sometimes you see them beating their heads against the wall and you wonder why they don't just start over.
As for the chutzpah - that's all Ray! Yes, I'll support him to the end but, without the mindset he has, failure would be inevitable. Thankfully, he has a zest for life that keeps that chutzpah charged!

Hey there, Margaret Rome, Baltimore Maryland! You really boosted my spirits the other day - I can't even tell you what it was you said that did the trick but, boy, I certainly did have extra spring in my step after our conversation!
Glad to have him home - I had a seller Closing at an office about 2 minutes from my house (which you know are short) and ventured out to the grocery store today. Otherwise, I've been home and it's really been nice having him here with me...and the fur babies are totally in heaven with him home! Now the work begins but, hey, I'm up for it! LOL
Happy Saturday!
Hi, George Souto! We've got this - and no, there is no giving up! What is it my grandfather used to say, "Tough people survive tough times?" I'm tough but, I can only aspire to be as tough as he is!
Ahh, you're so sweet, Will Hamm! Boy will I miss our talks to and from the airport! I'm sure you'll happy to be free to get back to work though - and I'm sure Sharon is happy to have her hubby back full-time! LOL
Enjoy your weekend!
Your husband is an inspiration - as are you. He's been through a tough time, but throughout it all, he's had a steadfast admirer and champion. I'm sure that's made a huge difference.
I wish you a safe trip there - and both of you a safe and joyful trip home.
May the Force be With You both.
