Even though it doesn't feel like it outside, Fall is here! We've rounded up our top three events to attend in and around Johns Creek this weekend.
Alpharetta International Night Market: October 4-6
Join the largest and most diverse night market in the United States at North Point Mall in Alpharetta this Friday through Sunday. With more than 75 nationalities represented in Metro Atlanta, this event showcases one of the greatest international communities in the world. Visitors will enjoy delicious food from all over the world, exciting cultural performances, a fun and festive Kids Zone, a huge retail/shopping area, a cooking demonstration tent, a full bar, an educational International Village. Tickets range from $8 for a one day pass to $16 to a weekend pass. VIP taste tent options are also available.
Alpharetta Scarecrow Harvest: October 5
Travel+Leisure recently rated Scarecrow Harvest as the best fall festival in Georgia. This free, family festival features over 100 lifesize scarecrows created by members of the local community and are displayed throughout downtown Alpharetta. The event begins at 10:00 a.m. and lasts through 2:00 p.m. At 12:00 p.m. awards are given for most creative, best personality, best-constructed scarecrows. Join in on the free family entertainment that includes a DJ, games of crow-cornhole, quirky face painting, food trucks, historical demos, artsy activities, stimulating story-telling and engaging inflatables. This event takes place in Brooke Street Park directly across from our office in Liberty Hall, so make sure you check out our beautiful building while you're in the area.
Johns Creek Orchestra Concert: October 5
If you’re looking for a more low key relaxing Fall activity, check out the final free concert of the Newtown Park Concert Series featuring the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra. Doors open at 6 p.m. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. The concert will take place at Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater in Johns Creek's Newtown Park with food trucks on site and beer and wine available for purchase.
