Athens GA October 2019 Happenings!

It's that time of the year when it is officially fall...........but Mother Nature apparently decided to play a trick on Georgia and have records setting temperatures in the 100s ....in October!

None the less, it is fall in GA per the calendar  and with that comes all the outdoor fun!  We've put together a listing of some of the events and happenings in the Athens, GA area for October of 2019 for you!

Athens, GA is long know for it's music.  Think REM, and many many more!  Sunday October 6, 2019 will be the first Historic Athens Porchfest!  "67 Performers, 67 Porches. 4 Historic Neighborhoods. 1  Incredible day of FREE Music."  This is going to be an awesome and epic day you won't want to miss!

An evening with the zoo animals!  Come out to Memorial Park on 10/24/2019 for Boo at the Zoo and Memorial Park Carnival! There is a $5 fee to enter and concessions will be on sale at additional costs.

Athens Little Playhouse presents "Curse of the Lost Mummy" 10/11 - 10/13/2019 and 10/18-10/20/2019.   Check out the times and cost here!

Fall Craftival at the Athens Clarke County Library is on 10/19/2019 from 11am - 12pm.  Ages 2-8 and their caregiver will enjoy a session of books and crafts!

10/31/2019 5:30-7 City of Bogart Trunk or Treat 

10/31/2019 6-8 PM Mall-O-Ween at the Georgia Square Mall (FREE, all ages!)
