Unattended, a single parasite will become infestate. 

 

Parasites slip in unnoticed through stealthy means and when left unchecked, can cause catastrophic results. A tick latches onto the hair of an animal or the cloth worn by humans. Before you know it, the host is being drained of blood while eggs are distributed throughout the region. Animals are unable to rid themselves of the parasite, while humans can get Lyme's disease or worse once the tick has dug deep into the skin. 

 

Home buyers and sellers beware!

 

Some companies are directly targeting consumers. Recently, I received a post card that said, "We Buy Houses For Cash!" "No Inspections or Appraisals Necessary!" I asked myself, "Would an unrepresented seller get beat up over the recommended price and how many defects would the company find to further push the value even lower, potentially making a huge return on investment for little work and time involved?"

 

Practicing real estate has become a passion of mine. Clients know that I am here 'in person' to represent them, protecting their interests, rather than some online, virtual employee pushing computer keys when problems or concerns arise. I can get quick resolve through researching, making phone calls, visiting local City and County offices, contacting pertinent sources immediately and answering any/all questions in a timely manner.

 

Real estate is an ever-changing evolving industry that requires remaining diligent about matters adversely affecting way of life. Be ever aware that parasites will take advantage personally and professionally in business when the opportunity presents. Be prepared to rid them before irreversible damage is done!

Sadly, far too many real estate sellers are getting sucked into this b.s.  Everyone wants a great deal and assumes they are going to save a boatload of money. Just like the Zillow model...there are hidden costs (high fees). In these scams, it's generally a less than fair market price for the property.

There's just too many people in the market for all these sellers. Wonder if these people are even solvent enough to complete the transaction? Everyone wants a deal until you are the victim.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD, Consumers get taken every day by those type of companies. There are also some builders in my area who are not Realtor-friendly and would rather a buyer forgo agent representation, thinking it is more money in their pockets. Perhaps in the short interim until their reputation catches up with them.

We are a non-disclosure state and home sales prices are not publicly posted online or in County records. Not sure how they would even get market value without access to the MLS Lyn Sims. Aha! They might be using Zestimates...

On this subject - had an interesting experience with a Seller. She was explaining that she doesn't want to do anything, the offer company will do everything, etc. Then, as I didn't negate her statements, she began explaining how every time she spoke with them, the offer went a bit lower --- they needed to deduct for this or for that ...

I have a past client and friend who loves to receive those mailings. She's into "Junk Journaling" and uses them for pages in some of her journals. She walks in the mornings and also pulls the flyers off the poles because she loves the colored paper they use. That's how she keeps the "parasites' at bay. She has called a couple of these "parasites' just to see what their "schpiel' as she calls it is. She has referred a few clients and customers my way. You've got to love a 'Junk Journalist". You can check their tutorials on You Tube. Just had to comment on a lighter side note.

We have just finished updating/upgrading most of our property and it is in pristine condition. I wonder what they would have supposedly 'found' to repair and disparage Marte Cliff. Glad to possess the knowledge and common sense to avoid such scams, just wish others were as readily armed.

It's hilarious, many of my properties still have Bug's name on them. So HE gets offers on properties which I respond to with the MLS listing. Gotta be smarter than the animal you're training. Luna says "Yeah Mom, give that a shot!"
