Fasting is hard. On Yom Kippur a full fast from sundown to to sundown is the norm: no food, no water, no nothing. It is a time for contemplation and prayer and it is difficult. That said, once it is over I always feel good that I made it and grateful for my many blessings. I had a satisfying and good day. I hope you did as well and now I am going to have some coffee, take some pills and enjoy a little something to eat. Have a good evening.
Sheila,
I am very happy you had good day. Fasting can be difficult but very rewarding, and coffee sounds great right about now.

Hi Sheila- we've helped break the fast with our friends in South Florida many times! Glad you endured and feel renewed.

The only way I can fast for a day, is to not go swimming. Physical exercise leaves me famished!

Wow...I didn't realize there is no water. That has to be really hard.
I barely survive the colonoscopy prep. LOL
