There is always plenty happening along the Main Line. In fact you can pretty much always find something to do, be it biking, hiking, eating, drinking or just flat out enjoying yourself. This weekend is no different.
Saturday October 12th I want to highlight two events, both worth visiting, the first is the Havertalian festival in Havertown at Cardinal Foley School,300 E Eagle Road, from 12 pm to 7 pm rain or shine, check out their website for all the details on entertainers, food etc. Free admission but a $3 donation is asked. Havertalian Festival is a completely volunteer run event, and celebrates Italian culture, food, fmaily and community with a love for Italy thrown in as well.
The other event is in Paoli and is the Upper Main Line Oktoberfest, run by the Upper Main Line Rotary, this is held at the Good Samaritan Church Field from 12 pm to 7.30 pm, so you could visit both. The Oktoberfest is a family friendly event with games, pumpkin decorating, boucy houses for the kids plus live music and dancing, and of course German Food and a great selection of beer for the kids at heart. 100% of the proceeds go to charity.
And of course on Sunday October 13th I am holding an Open house at 209 S Valley Forge Road in Devon, a wonderful 1890's house priced at $699,500, with six bedrooms and three and half baths, fenced yard, oversized garage in the perfect location for everything on the Main Line.
Hope to see you at one of the events, especially my open house this weekend. If you have any questions about the Main Line and the Real Estate Market right now reach out or come and see me at the Open House.
