Reblogging is a good thing .
Why Reblogging Can Be a Good Thing…
Admittedly, my reblogging of posts has declined over the years. Some might consider my Sunday Series (What I Learned at ActiveRain This Week) a lot like reblogging and I suppose it is.
But reblogging works on so many levels. Let’s face it, there’s no way any of us can read every post that crawls along the blogroll.
I can’t even begin to count the number of This Month’s Challenge or This Month’s Contest posts I would have missed had someone not reblogged it.
Reblogging is a way of sharing with others what you feel is an interesting or important post for them to read.
Reblogging is also a way of giving some deserved and/or needed attention to a blogger.
Reblogging is a way to introduce us to a new member.
I guess you get points for this but I don’t know nor do I care. But the next time you read a post that you think deserves some attention, scroll down to the bottom of that member’s post and look to the right of the LIKE button. You’ll see the RE-BLOG.
Hit Re-Blog and all you need to do is write a short comment of introduction to the post. You’ll also have to scroll down and choose what groups to post it in.
It’s also your choice to either allow or disable comments on your reblogged post. Up to you.
NOTE: if the post is Members Only or if the member is not a Rainmaker, you will not be able to reblog the post. However, you could write a post about why you liked it and link it to the original post.
