This Week… Autumn Has Arrived in Houston (I Think)
Yesterday we awoke to temperatures in the upper 70s. We had the top down on our way to our morning walk. In a few short hours, the rains and front came through and the temperature had dropped to barely 60.

Saturday’s high may reach 70 but I doubt it. However, next Saturday we are expecting temperatures back in the mid-80s, which is why I can only say that I think autumn has arrived in Houston.

The thought of wearing something other than shorts and flip flops is actually kind of exciting to many Houstonians. The hardest thing for me is to get the stylist-in-my-head back into my cool weather wardrobe.

It’s fun seeing the leaves beginning to change colors but I’m not sure what our walks will look like in the dead of winter when most of the trees are leafless.
