The Patriots played on Thursday night, so I’m lost on this Sunday afternoon. By the way, they won! I was watching the Houston/Kansas City game, and I have Kansas City in the pool. There’s nothing exciting today with football games, so I’ll have NCIS Los Angeles in the background, as I write blog posts.
Last evening I did campaign work, and finished writing 6 narratives that will be published in one of our local newspapers. They were questions asked of the candidates by the newspaper person assigned to the Franklin election. Brian made a list of his thoughts, and I created the 6 blog posts for the newspaper articles.
I truly enjoy all that was required so far for this election on Nov. 5th. We have 100 signs out, and I contacted about 50 people that I hadn’t spoken to in years. It was like “old home” week!!!
I have an election ad ready to be published, and the new photo was emailed to me today. The ad will be paid for by me.
The final task is to hold a sign at the polls. I’ve done that in the past for someone running in a State election. That was fun, too. Wave to people, and hopefully they’ll remember the name on the sign held by the person holding that wooden post. They DO wave back!
This is the first time I’ve actually helped someone on a political campaign in Franklin. There will be more.
My production for the remainder of the afternoon will be working on blog posts for tomorrow. Basically, I have a day of relaxation, but I miss watching the Patriots.
