Do you want a friendly community near the green space of Cabin John Park with a beautiful lake in your back yard, and yet just a short walk to all that the Westfield Montgomery Mall has to offer and an easy ride to downtown Bethesda and the rest of the DC metro area?  If you want a sense of community you will love West Lake Park, which is only 81 units. Sitting on the west side of Bethesda, the spacious and well priced Spring Lake condominiums are near lots of employers on Rockledge like Marriott, Walter Reed Medical Center and many doctors' offices on Rockledge Drive. Other possibilities include the Promenade and Chelsea Tower. Two bedroom and one bath condos at Spring Lake are typically somewhere around $225,000 with condo fees around $534, including all utilities.  Two bedroom two bath condos run about $325,000 in the fall of 2019.  Imagine getting over 1300 square feet of living space for just $325,000.




There are lots of reasons to choose Chelsea Tower as your new home. The properties are very reasonably priced - less than $200,000 for a one bedroom condo in the fall of 2019 and the building is close to Walter Reed Medical Center and the new Marriott Headquarters. There are lots of amenities including a swimming pool and it provides easy access to Dulles Airport. Good news!  Chelsea Tower is FHA Approved!  

The Chelsea Tower Condominium is a high rise building just minutes to I270 & I495. Built in 1983 it has 238 units,  from one bedroom one bath condos with 841 square feet to 882 square feet. The two bedroom two bath condos are approximately 1100 square feet in size, and then there are three bedroom two bath condos that are approximately 1300 square feet in size. Unlike the upscale buildings in downtown Bethesda, Chelsea Towers represents a real value in terms of price per square foot. An 800 square foot 1 bedr 1 bath condo will sell for less than $200,000 but with a condo fee around $450 a month.  It is possible to buy a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo in the lower 200,000s, but the condo fee will be in the $500s.  A large three bedroom two bath condo might run  into the mid $300s with a condo fee around $650.  The condo fees - which are still less than downtown Bethesda fees- have kept the price of the condos lower than one might expect for the square footage. Check out all the properties currently available.


Located at 7420 Westlake Terrace, Bethesda Md, the Westlake Towers Condominiums in Westlake Park are next to a charming small lake and within three blocks of Montgomery Mall. The Westlake Towers, a high rise building, was built in 1976 and has 194 units from the very small management office to one very spacious unit on the 16th floor that was made by combining two condos into a 2031 square foot home.  These condominiums are well priced with condo fees over a thousand dollars a month for the larger units.  To find condos for sale at Westlake Towers, just click here to start your search.




The West Spring Condominiums are a garden style community which is affordable, spacious, and convenient to the Beltway and I-270.  They are close to shopping and Cabin John Park and are a short walk to the Westfield Mall.  Isn't it nice to know there are affordable condominiums in Bethesda? Built in 1962 and converted to condos in 1979, the condos originally sold for $50,000 for a two bedroom one bath.  Over time, the condos have been updated by their individual owners so the sale price and property condition really do reflect the particular unit.
