YouTube: How Does Your Channel Grow?

Services for Real Estate Pros with Second Self Virtual Assistance

There are many ways to grow your YouTube channel. Growing your YouTube channel is important for your marketing efforts to work. Here are some great techniques for growing your subscriber list.

Add your Social Media Profiles

Link your social media profiles to your YouTube channel. When you do this they will be visible on the top right of your channel. Add a link to your website or important pages within your website. This gives your audience a simple but effective way to create more engagement opportunities.

Complete the “About” Section for your Channel

Your audience wants to know more about you. Make sure your “About” page tells them what your channel is about, how you want to help them, and how regularly you will be posting new videos.

Create a Channel Thumbnail

Did you know that you can create your own channel thumbnail? Use your professional photo or company logo. Just be sure to project a positive image.

Use Great Looking Channel Art

Channel Art is the banner for your channel and the smaller image. You are building a brand with your channel. You want your channel to appeal to everyone and look professional.

Organize Your Channel

Organize your videos into categories. This makes it easy for your audience to find videos that interest them. This is a simple and effective thing to do.

Make a Channel Trailer

Once you have a few videos make a trailer video to introduce your audience to your channel. Use the best bits from some of your videos so that it encourages people to subscribe.

Customize your Channel

Make your channel interesting by changing it up once in a while. Make sure that your channel trailer is there and your most popular videos. By presenting your best content you will increase your chances of more subscriptions.

Provide an Incentive for Subscriptions

It is always good to give an incentive to new visitors to your YouTube channel to get them to subscribe. Offer them something of value for subscribing.

YouTube videos continue to grow in popularity and subscriptions. If you haven’t done so already, take some time to spiff up your channel and regularly add new videos.

Thanks again, Pamela Cendejas, for more great tips, this time about YouTube. In this particular case it sounds like it can be done with a reasonable amount of time investment versus spending countless hours we don't seem to ever have.
