This property was a For Sale By Owner and my buyer and I just happened upon it when looking for lots in the Stonehenge Subdivision. Once I called the owner of the property to find out the sale price and did some research on the land, we started the negotiations. The seller agreed to a price but no commission to be paid. The buyer said fine that she would pay my commission.
We went to closing, (a cash deal) and both buyer and seller were happy. List price was $26,000 and sold for $17,500
758 Highlander Trail, Lewisburg WV
This 5.58-acre lot was exactly what my buyer was looking for.... privacy, wooded lot, and close to town. About two miles to town. Another attribute was some of the land had been cleared as the previous owner was in the process of building on the land.
My buyer is from Massachusetts and will be building a log cabin on the property. We had a champagne happy hour with some friends after closing on Tuesday.
