Laughing at the Rain

I have been busy cleaning up my yard for a month now. I have thousands of day lilies that need to be cut back and had about 75 annuals as well. Cutting back, cleaning up and reusing dirt is a lot of work. I have cleaned my pots and statuary and brought the hoses in. It is cold now and raining and I don't care because I have completed my tasks. It feels good to be in, knowing tomorrow is just a regular day. Laughing at the rain is so much better than working in it.

There is a feeling of satisfaction when it rains and you can look out and realize you took care of your yard before those rains arrived.  I suspect a squirrel feels the same way while looking out his home during inclement weather while nibbling on a stored nut he had stored before.
