My Apologies...Road Trip and Limited Time in the Rain
Larry and I took a short road trip to see the grandsons in Omaha. Before I left I decided that I wanted to limit the time I spent with my face staring into a computer, iPad, or iPhone screen.
And so I wrote my posts days in advance and scheduled them to go live while I was gone. The only thing left was to find posts to add to my Sunday series.
Unfortunately, while I was able to read many posts I had to limit my commenting and responding to comments left on my post. So I apologize if I have not visited your post or responded to your comment in the last few days. Your support and interaction is not something I take for granted.
The “downtime” was well spent because I did get to enjoy watching our grandkids and visiting with Larry’s daughter and her husband.
While I did limit myself, I can honestly say that I am not someone who can divorce themselves totally from being connected.
While we were visiting Saturday evening with Larry’s daughter’s uncle and aunt, my Apple watched pinged me that the Astros’ game was about to start. Another ping and an alert that the KU game was about to begin.
I took a big breath and decided that the games could wait. (yes...I actually said that to myself)
However true to her personality, Larry’s daughter stood up at 7 and said: “You guys have to go now...we have games to watch!”
That said...I’m back and ready to resume interacting!!!
