Hi Tony - interesting to see your thoughts on how you feel California is becoming like other parts of the country.  As Wayne Martin and Barbara Todaro commented, I am not so sure other "parts" are thinking the same thing.  Maybe just the opposite.  In fact, I often tell people what "we" think in California can be quite different.  A scary thought?  Maybe.  Maybe not. Hmm, I never knew that Halloween wasn't celebrated as much as in other places in the past, but then again, I have never lived in California.
