A few Halloween Safety Reminders

for those passing out candy and goodies on Halloween Night.

  • Please make sure your lawn/yard is free and clear of all easily tripped over items such as hoses, ladders, trash cans, and tools. Make sure your gate doors are easy to open or left open for those couple hours of trick or treating time.
  • Use rope lighting or sidewalk yard lights as a safety way to mark a path to your front door or side door. Make sure your house lights are on. There are tons of inexpensive Halloween decorating lights for your sidewalk or front porch.
  • Make sure you keep your pets inside or tucked away for the couple of hours of Trick or Treating Time.
  • Whether you're a Trick or Treater, a parent, homeowner or even a motorist out on this special time for the children, remember  SAFETY FIRST!
