It is that kind of day today. The weather here is awful, rainy and windy and leaves flying. Many towns have changed the normal Halloween day to Saturday because it is dangerous today. I watch the fires in California and can not imagine this. We are all impacted by the weather daily, whether in a large way as now, or the normal fluctuations that happen season by season. Be safe today.

The weather here in Chicagoland is nasty too, Sheila Anderson ... but so far I've not heard that our local municipality has delayed Halloween Trick-or-Treat hours to the weekend. Hopefully, parents bundle their little ones up tight ... the snow is blowing ...

We had good weather for Trick or Treating, but plenty of communities in CA, and elsewhere around the country, did not. The fires are still raging with another new one, although some progress has been made. Unfortunately our weather conditions still have the potential for more fires to break out. The winds are still causing major problems.

It's crazy how crazy the weather has been everywhere. We had the coldest October in recorded history... but nothing as terrible as the fires in California. It's good to hear they made the decision to keep the kids safe and change trick or treating to Saturday.
