Wild Horse & Burro Adoption

Bureau of Land Management offers wild horses and burros for adoption when the ranges become over populated. You must be approved and file and application but this can be done there.

Schedule:

Thursday: 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Preview animals and application approval

Friday: 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Competitive bid adoption begins at 10 a.m.;
Walk-up adoptions (first-come-first-served) follow until 6 p.m.

Saturday: 8 a.m. - noon Walk-up adoptions continue.

The minimum fees are $125
