Early Winter Storm in Highlands Ranch Releasing Icy Grip

After the snow this week, it seems like Winter has come early and come hard. The storm this week took over the city and a lot of businesses closed their doors on Tuesday. We had our Highlands Ranch property management office closed Tuesday and Wednesday this week due to the conditions. The streets were hardly plowed, and the tiny temperatures, sometimes getting into the single digits late at night and early in the morning kept everything at a sheet of ice or more. Some people even had trouble getting out of their parking spots out front of their house. The best thing about these winter storms in Colorado, is that it rebounds quite hard in the next few days. The sun is out today and shining, and everything caught in its gaze is melting rapidly. The temperature got up to about 45 degrees today, and then will descend back down to the 30’s and below tonight. But if snowbanks begin to pile up, and yards where the snowplows and shoveling ended up, at least the streets are clear and dry. That is all we need for the city to remain in effect and if it gave some of us some snow days, that’s great. Except for anyone who’s kids were in school where the day got cancelled, that is always a scramble and tough to make last minute arrangements on your way to work. For any Highlands Ranch property management please call today.
