Hawaii superstitions you should be aware of!

If you're visiting Hawaii, or even if you live here, you should know there are a lot of imported customs and superstitions - and some of them are a little scary!  You'd better watch your back...

Here's a link to tell you all about it.

What I remember most from my time in Hawaii is to hang loose, I always loved that.

Aloha Georgie Hunter R(S) 58089,

I had to go read all the customs and superstitions. I find it fascinating.  It is important to show respect when you are visiting other areas such as Hawaii.

Too often, I have seen tourists dump their baggage when they start their vacation and I understand why the Hawaiian locals do not mix with tourists.

We would stay for a month at a time and every weekend during the changeover you could feel the negative energy. About Wednesday, the energy would be more positive and then it would start again on Friday!

One year we were in Lahaina during the Halloween parade.  It was a lot of fun.

Georgie, interesting, and not much of a superstitious person, but always watch what is going on around me.
