October 31, very late at night, there were sounds of high winds, lots of banging and torrential rain. The abundance of noise sounded like something from a Halloween horror movie.
Sure I got up and looked out all my windows, but all I could see was DARK.
By sunrise, there were lots of branches, twigs, sticks, and quite a bit was hanging off the roof.
The first photo, above. shows outside my window where the ground is littered with stuff from the storm. The second photo shows where the large branch broke away. Pictures three and four show the actual branches impaled into my roof.
My contractor Tony came over to clean up the messy yard and check the roof.
He knocked on my door to show me a picture of my relatively new roof!
It was not only covered with all sizes of tree debris, but my roof was actually impaled with several branches after this violent storm
Anyone who knows anything about a roof knows this is not a good thing.
Remember the Booth Brothers!
Within hours Chris was on my roof!
He took photos, removed the impaled objects, did an assessment, and placed a tarp to cover and secure the damaged areas.
Impaled is never a good thing!
So glad that Tony checked the roof and found the damage.
Having a good reliable roofing company is the answer!
