Work on your stairs

Stairs are one of the first things anyone sees when they walk into a house. So, why not make this a central focus of your living room? Replace the dirty carpets with something chic like a stair runner that goes well with your home décor. This is also one place where you can add a lot of colors to give a bright look to your home. Feel free to experiment with some bold colors, so your visitors look at it as soon as they walk in. This will create the first right impression on your guests.

At the same time, it will add to your décor and maybe it can even double up as a place to sit and have a casual conversation.

Vinyl Tiles

Vinyl tiles are a simple addition that can greatly enhance the look and feel of your home. These tiles are water and stain-resistant as well, so makes for easy cleaning at any time. These tiles are durable and come in a variety of colors and patterns to choose from. In fact, you can match your décor with the right luxury vinyl tile collection to give a whole new look to your home. And it doesn't break your ban either!

Create new shelves

Consider adding new shelves in unused areas of your home such as the area under the stairs, attic, or any other place that you think can fit a few shelves. This is an important addition from a utility standpoint because you can never have enough storage. So, think about making the most of every available place to store your things as this will help you to declutter your living space and give you the added flexibility to better organize your things.

Change your curtains and blinds

Though we don't think much about curtains and blinds when it comes to décor, in reality, that's an important item that can break or make your rooms. When you have trendy and colorful curtains it sure adds cheer to any room and can give a bright new look to the entire area. You have the flexibility to mix and match different colors, add liners, and personalize it the way you want. The best part about blinds and curtains is that they are highly inexpensive and at the same time, can spruce up your home within minutes.

Thus, these are some ideas to renovate your home and make it more appealing and livable, even when you're on a shoestring budget.
