Video at the Maui Aloha Classic - windsurfing contest Oct 2019

Here's a link to a short video taken at Ho'okipa Beach Park, in Paia Maui.  The PWA Aloha Classic was on hold because the waves were too big and dangerous.  This annual competition pits the best men and women windsurfers in the world.  But despite the lack of contestants battling it out on the waves, the beach scene was colorful and interesting, as it usually is.

Thanks for watching.  I hope you enjoy this small glimpse of life on Maui's north shore, when the waves are pumping!

Georgie, I can appreciate making sure conditions are safe for all Wind Surfers before competition. My daughter is a Wind Surfer and I remember how tense I was when she first started. After awhile, I learned she was learning so much more than I was in regards to safety, respect for ocean, and staying focused.

I enjoyed the video very much!
