As a person who spent a whole other career in the staffing industry, I appreciate what you are doing by educating the next generation of HR people.  There is nothing like the gratification that comes from someone who really appreciates what you are doing for them. Kudos!

Hi Grant... teaching is something that provides so many rewards to the teacher... I don't teach, per se, but I do train from time to time... and it's at least as rewarding to me as it is to the people I train. And I do have a soft spot for Fordham, as I did my MBA there many, many, many years ago.

Grant you have a lot of knowledge to share, so it is good to hear your students appreciate the value of it.

Oh, I love that your offer has come back to you exponentially and I know you're thrilled to be able to help your students. Just speaking with you and reading your blog, I know how very lucky those students are to have you guiding, teaching, mentoring them, Grant!

Knowing that you are assisting others to the "best they can be" is certainly gratifying.

I'm sure the gratitude goes both ways, Grant.  Mentoring is such a wonderful way to payback the rewards of your career path - no doubt you feel lucky everyday. D 

That is so true ... when you give without expecting anything in return, the return seems to multiply on it's own.  Sounds like you definitely love your job and that you are wonderful at it.  Love seeing these grateful posts for sure.
