Hi Steve: Thank you for sharing this---I just sent it out to all our agents here on Long Island. I have been blogging about this topic for more than 10 years--Zillow toldl the world that it was their intent "to put all brokerages out of business" as they opened their doors in 2006. All my bog posts fell on deaf ears and now this! There is very little gratification to see that real estate people are finally getting the message---But they are STILL PAYING TO PLAY! Crazy!!

Zillow, Knock, Opendoor, etc all buy houses cheaper and then sell them higher - often with adding no value at all. The problem is that buyers can no longer enter the market. Houses are gone in a day in their price point. Regular buyers cannot buy a home without paying these companies their pass through fees. For a regular person this fee can be prohibitive. Agents cannot find their buyers a house and of course most people cannot afford two houses so they cannot sell, either so they are stuck unless they use these ripoff companies.
