Palos Verdes homes owners can celebrate Holiday Traditions locally on the Peninsula with many upcoming events.  There are tree lighting celebrations, holiday parades, Nutcracker ballets, visits with Santa and more.  Here are just a few of the events coming our way:

On Saturday, November 16, 2019, the Promenade on the Peninsula will be hosting their Annual Tree Lighting & Holiday Stroll with fun activities all day long and the tree lighting ceremony at 5:00 p.m.

The Nutcracker Ballet will be presented by several local dance studios at the Palos Verdes Performing Arts Center.  Peninsula School of Performing Arts (PSPA) will start their performances on Friday, November 22, at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, November 23, at 2:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, November 24, 2019, at 2:00 p.m.  Tickets prices are $35 adults/$25 for children 17 and under.  The Classical Ballet Theater will be performing “The Nutcracker” on Sunday, November 25, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. with ticket prices of $25 adult/$20 children under 12.  The Palos Verdes Performing Arts Center is located at 27570 Crossfield, Rolling Hills Estates.  For more information, or to purchase tickets go to www.NorrisTheatre.org, or call (310) 544-0403.

On Saturday, December 7, 2019, the City of Rolling Hills Estates’ annual Parade of Lights will take place with many local community groups and businesses sponsoring floats and participating in the Parade.  The Parade will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will travel along Silver Spur Road, Deep Valley Drive, and the Center Drive.  There are floats, bands, animals and, of course, Santa to make this an event to remember.  This year the parade announcers will be Mike Whitehead, Michele Swanson & Brenda Barnes.  You may want to come a little early to find yourself a great viewing spot.  For more information or to request an entry registration, call Cynthia Morquecho (310) 377-1577 x 109.
