National Chaos Never Dies Day is November 9...Do You Plan to be In the Middle of It?
Raise your hand if you know someone whose life always seems to be in a state of chaos.
When I saw this day...and by the way, I have no idea what it’s all about...it just jogged a blog in my nog(gin)... several people I know popped into my head.
There are people in my life who always seem to be running around like a chicken with their head cut off. It seems as if their schedule and theirs alone is packed with appointments and activities that they have to attend to.
When situations come up, they are the first to jump in and try to make things right even though it is not their issue to fix.
Do you know of someone that thrives on chaos or might you be that person?
Things happen...I get it. But chaos doesn’t have to control you.
What about all of those appointments and social events you’ve scheduled?
A very good friend is excellent at keeping chaos out of her life as much as she can. For example, before any major trip or when she leaves town for the summer, she is careful about scheduling lunches and other appointments that will take away from her time and stress her out.
Most of us, on the other hand, would try to squeeze in every appointment we could, then complain about how much we have to do.
For those who thrive on chaos, chaos never dies...they won’t let it.
If you’re interested in getting ahead of chaos and the stress it causes here are two excellent posts written recently…
